K-Stone and AstraGene Complete New PCR Laboratory Project in Dubai

— Setting a New Standard for Molecular Diagnostics Infrastructure in the Middle East

Dubai, July 2025 — K-Stone Cleanroom Technology, a global provider of cleanroom engineering solutions, has successfully completed the design and construction of a new PCR molecular diagnostics laboratory for AstraGene, a Dubai-based biotechnology manufacturer. The project, located in Dubai Science Park, was delivered within four months and is now fully operational.

The laboratory was designed to support AstraGene’s expanding capabilities in molecular diagnostics, featuring K-Stone’s modular cleanroom systems, ISO 14644 Class 7/8 compliance, and a workflow-optimized layout for sample reception, nucleic acid extraction, PCR amplification, and result analysis.

The facility integrates advanced features such as:

✔ Antibacterial surfaces and lab-grade epoxy flooring

✔ Temperature and humidity controlled HVAC systems

Pressure-controlled zoning and interlock door automation
